Absolutely awesome service! My well pump quit on a Saturday evening and they were at my house within an hour and had a new one in the ground in 2 hours. And it was less expensive than I expected. I definitely recommend these guys 👌

Our pump quit, we have a submersible pump down over the bank, hard to get too, it’s a dug well not an artesian. Called several business with no immediate luck, called Monadnock Well & Pump. Husband talked with Martin who said he could come that afternoon. He came and assessed the situation & discovered numerous other issues that led to pump failure. Gave a very reasonable quote & returned next day with new pump & pressure tank, switches etc…..to update a system that’s about 48 years old! The job was done the following day under adverse weather conditions! Not only did he put the pump in well, but drained & cleaned & patched the old tiles. We have better water pressure than we’ve ever had! We highly recommend Monadnock Well & Pump, Martin & his helper went above & beyond. Very knowledgeable, friendly & professional! My well pump died on a Saturday afternoon. I called Monadnock Well and Pump, and the owner, Martin, answered the call (even though it was Saturday). He informed me that he was on another job at a town about 20 mins away, but he would stop by within 90 minutes to diagnose my problem.

As promised, he arrived on time, and was able to diagnose my problem as a non-functioning pump (24 years old at the time). He told me he would get to it the same day so we would have running water, and then he went off to get supplies.

He returned at 7pm with a helper, and proceeded to pull the old pump out. The pump was 150ft into the well. After he pulled it out, he inspected the wiring along the length of the water supply line, and made preventative repairs to a few spots where the insulation was starting to wear off.

Installed the new pump, wiped the supply line clean, and taped all the wiring to the line so it would not rub against the well casing.

By then, he was working by the light of a headlight.

By 11:00pm, the pump was installed, and Martin sanitized the well. After a test run, we discovered quite a bit of disturbed sediments in the water coming out, so we let it settle a bit and tried again. Martin then went inside the house and adjusted my pressure switch to improve the pump’s operating efficiency and range, and inflated my pressure tank to the correct pressure. The tank was installed two months ago by another plumbing company, but they never adjusted the pressure. Martin did, as a preventative measure.
It was almost 11:30pm when Martin and his helper left, but before they went around the yard with a flashlight to make sure that no debris or materials were left behind. I let the chlorine sit in the well overnight to make sure than all was sanitized properly. On Sunday, I pumped the well clean, and now I’m able to have clean, safe water supply again.

It’s hard to find anyone who is willing to work on weekends. It’s even harder to find anyone who will go above and beyond their job description. Martin has done both.
